Governor vacancy position for Pebblebed Heath Federation.

14 September 2018

Do you have an interest to work as part of a team? Do you have a background or skills in either finance or property/ health and safety ? Are you interested in supporting a local Federation of schools in a role as a governor?

Pebblebed Heath Federation is a partnership of two primary schools in the Exmouth area. Both schools have links with Exeter Diocese and their local churches. Pebblebed Heath Federation is governed by a group of volunteers who support the schools’ senior leadership team. Both have been recently inspected by OFSTED and judged as being good schools.

Two vacancies have arisen for Governor portfolio leads in the areas of finance and health safety/premises. If you are interested in joining us as a volunteer, developing your skill set in governance and making a difference to local children please get in touch with the chair of governors, Clare Rooke who would be happy to talk to you about these roles.

You do not need prior experience to be a governor, both induction training and ongoing CPD is available.

The governing body meets approximately 6 times a year in the evening for two hours. Governors are required to make portfolio visits at least half termly each school year.
