Inspiring One Another To Live Life In All Its Fullness
We are extremely proud of our small village school which was judged as ‘good‘ at our last Ofsted inspection (July 2017) and ‘good‘ at our last SIAMS inspection (April 2017). The school is part of The Jubilee with Pebblebed Federation with Broadhembury, Branscombe, Farway and Littleham CE Primary School. As part of The Jubilee with Pebblebed Federation, we embrace working collaboratively to improve the outcomes for all children whilst retaining our unique Christian character.
At our school, we seek to stimulate the love of learning in our children so that they want to achieve to the very best of their abilities. Every child is valued as an individual and encouraged to reach their potential within a setting where they are happy, well cared for and where they are kind and considerate towards each other. As a Church of England school we aim for the children to be nurtured in exploring faith by the Christian Values of the school and to make a positive contribution to their community.
The Jubilee with Pebblebed Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy which can be viewed in the Policies section of our website.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
